In 1995 I launched Just Moved Ministry out of a desire to offer the encouragement and hope of Jesus Christ to women uprooted by a move. Thousands of uprooted women around the world have contacted Just Moved Ministry for personal encouragement, helpful resources, inspiration, prayer support, an online community, and to find the location of an After the Boxes Are Unpacked study group.
My passion to help uprooted women led to writing several books, including After the Boxes are Unpacked, But Mom, I Don’t Want to Move!, and the After the Boxes Are Unpacked Companion Journal. There is also a collection of study materials to guide individuals and groups through After the Boxes Are Unpacked. This study has had an impact on thousands of women uprooted by a move. The study is offered in military installations, churches, communities, and among missionaries, ex-pats, and corporate transplants around the world.
I’ve been a guest on many radio programs such as Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, National Public Radio, Moody Broadcasting, Family Life’s Parent Talk, and Army Wife Talk Radio, and hosted my own radio talk show, Just Moved!
I’m totally sold out for Jesus, devoted to my two adult children and their families, and committed to leaving a Christ-centered legacy for my six grandchildren!
When I’m not speaking or in the Just Moved office, I may be kick-boxing at the gym, savoring a latte at Starbucks, listening to country music, planting flowers in my yard, or riding on the back of a Harley.
